Sicknote Kev returns for the first time in nearly two years as big-hitting Raju cuts loose in the nets

CLUB stalwart Kevin Pittaway is back in training after nearly two years off with an injured ankle.

The opening bowler – who is still the club’s third highest wicket-taker of all time – returned to the nets on Wednesday just a week before season 2013 kicks off.

He had a tentative bowl off a two-step run-up as another club stalwart Raju Mazumder gave an encouraging performance by smashing a series of balls back over the bowlers’ heads.

When asked where he got his new aggressive streak from, Raju said: “Sexual frustration.”
