Pre-season training gets in full swing

THE Road’s pre-season preparations swung into action in a high-tempo training session today.

Fourteen Orange Caps were there to put bat on ball at Dulwich College in the biggest turn out of the year so far.

It bodes well for The Road’s first fixture – which has been pushed back to May 1 due to problems getting a pitch on April 24.

King’s Road will hold their next net session at Clapham Common on Sunday if the weather’s good.

    I’m just very bendy and athletic, it is a cross I have to bear.
