New deal ... It's Just Cricket are hooking up with King's Road

KING’S Road will bear the name of South London cricket shop It’s Just Cricket again this year after renewing the club’s sponsorship deal.

The club’s first ever backer, which provided shirts for members last season, has agreed to donate match balls for the upcoming season.

Committee members said they were “very pleased” the partnership will continue into 2013.

As part of the sponsorship, the club is urging its players to buy gear from Walworth-based  www.itsjustcricket.co.uk.

Any purchases made by club members will earn a loyalty bonus payable to the club if “King’s Road” is entered into the order form.

Cash earned from the scheme will help pay for hiring pitches, buying club kit and go towards keeping the cost of nets down.

It’s Just Cricket operates online and from its store in Westmoreland Road, Walworth.

The man behind it is Paul Cole, a Battersea Badger, who played for the Badgers against The Road last season.

His website offers a full range of cricket gear including well-known brands like Gray-Nicolls, Gunn & Moore, Nike, Kookaburra, Salix, Hunts County and Willostix.
