Down with Tubes: The Road bump into SoccerAM funnyman in Balham

SOCCER AM funnyman Tubes had “one question and one question only” for The Road – who the hell are the Battersea Badgers?

The binge drinking telly star – real name Peter Dale – became the latest celeb to roar on the Orange Caps after joining players for a post match pint on Saturday.

Clearly the worse for wear, straight-faced Tubes was pictured eyeballing batsman Jamie Keating, poncing a pint from James Pritchard and then taking Keats outside for a fag.

He was also keen to hear of King’s Road’s cricketing exploits – despite being more of a footie fan – and don the famous club cap.

Tubes follows England captain Andrew Strauss and actor Idris Elba, who plays Stringer Bell in US cop drama The Wire, in giving his support to King’s Road this season.

According to online referance site Wikipedia, Tubes’s weekly binge drinking exploits have led his show’s former host Tim Lovejoy to call for pub landlords across the country to ban him from their establishments for his own good.

But it seems bosses at The Bedford in Balham have not responded to Lovejoy’s plea yet.
