BEANPOLE spin king Mark Isham bowled King’s Road to victory against Bunga Bunga CC today in a 35-ver match in east London.

It meant the boys from Battersea racked up five wins in their last six.

The Orange Caps had set Bunga Bunga 168 to win off their 35 overs after skipper Giles Fagan continued his rich vein of form to smash yet another fifty.

Gilo hit 12 fours in his 56 at Springfield Park in Clapton, east London.

Then after an impressive tea provided by Bunga Bunga, the King’s Road party-poopers set about forcing Bunga Bunga to bungle their batting.

Man of the Match Mark bagged career-best figures of 4 for 15 off 4 with his wily spin to mop up the tail.

Dan Sherman took two and Amir Alipour and Matt Small were also among the wickets as the Bunga boys were bowled out for 100.

It leaves The Road going into next weekend’s Super Test against the Battersea Badgers on the back of the best run in the club’s history.
